The DAP-3712 is enclosed in an unobtrusive IP66-rated housing, protecting it from rain and dirt. With built-in 8 kV surge protection, the DAP-3712 has protection against unexpected surges (such as lightning strikes), enabling it to be deployed where it’s needed, even in harsh environments and tough conditions.

The DAP-3712 supports TDMA technology, creating a schedule for the bridge's access point and the client. The sender and receiver are allocated a time slot for transmissions, eliminating hidden node data collisions, maximising airtime efficiency, significantly cutting down interference, and dramatically improving the transfer rate.
