With two cable models including the DEM-CB100S and DEM-CB300S, these cables are suitable for short distances up to 3 metres, and is ideal for highly cost-effective networking connectivity between switches and servers within a rack or in adjacent racks. Meanwhile SFP+ connectors use the same space-per-port as standard SFP connectors but support higher data transmission speeds.
